SUSTAINABILITY @ SUNSOURCE

At SunSource, we are continuously working to find new and innovative ways to mitigate our impact on the environment and also serve as a trusted partner and resource to our customers in helping them reduce their carbon footprints. We do this through the sale of environmentally friendly products, designing energy-efficient solutions as alternatives to fossil fuel-powered equipment, and implementing facility and operational improvements to reduce our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and overall waste.

Our 2024 environmental goals focused on designing and quoting more energy-saving electric drive systems, decreasing the overall energy use in our 25 largest facilities, and growing sales into the alternative energy and water treatment end-markets. These remain areas of focus for us in 2025, and we will look to accelerate our service and repair activities, which benefit the environment by extending the useful life of our customers’ products and avoiding the need for the disposal of used products and the manufacture of replacement parts and equipment.
