A Letter from Our President and CEO

I am happy to share that we have made notable progress on our ESG priorities as we work to integrate our sustainability strategy with SunSource’s Guiding Principles and overall business operations and strategy. Through our internal initiatives and innovative solutions, we are at the same time reducing our carbon footprint while helping customers lower their greenhouse gas emissions and operate more sustainably. However, we know there is much more work to do.

As a leader in value-add, solutions-based industrial distribution with more than 240 locations across North America, SunSource is uniquely positioned to have a positive environmental impact through the sale of energy-efficient products, expansion in alternative energy markets, extending the life of our customers’ existing equipment through our Service & Repair business, and employing operational best practices to minimize our greenhouse gas emissions and waste. During 2024, we designed and quoted more energy-saving electric drives and propulsion systems than ever before and will continue to promote their benefits to the markets we serve.

SunSource also prioritizes the health and well-being of our workforce of 3,600+ associates through our relentless focus on safe operational and business practices. This is engrained in our culture and our associates understand that Safety Starts with Me, which means each of us is responsible for our actions and for looking out for each other. We pay attention to the little things and learn from the “near misses” so that accidents are avoided and best practices learned from training are shared across the company. We know this approach works – 2024 year-end results show a decrease in our recordable incidents by 9.3% and an improvement of 11% in our Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR). Annual training and site safety audits continue to be a focus in 2025.

At SunSource, we integrate sustainability into the products we sell, the services we provide, the safety and well-being of our employees, and the management and oversight of our business.

Additionally, our Board of Directors and senior leadership help set the tone for proper oversight and management. From setting the strategic direction of the organization to managing key risks, SunSource understands that a sustainable company must learn from both its successes and failures of the past. We use these experiences to guide the execution of our business plan today to help us meet and exceed the needs of our customers. And we are leveraging data, technology and our talented workforce to achieve continued, profitable growth in the future.

At SunSource, we are committed to making the necessary investments and business process adjustments that are directly tied to our strategic objectives, and which will deliver the greatest benefit to our customers, associates, shareholders and other stakeholders.

I am proud of what our team accomplished in 2024 to create value through our ESG priorities, and I look forward to continuing to build our best-in-class, value-add industrial distribution business.
